Encardio-rite was incorporated in 1966 with the main objective of developing, manufacturing and marketing instruments involving high technology. It has emerged as the leader in geotechnical, geophysical, ground water & structural instruments and load cells, weighing scales & weighing systems. It has an unchallenged/enviable reputation for quality goods and services.

Encardio-rite is an ISO-9001 certificated organization for design, manufacture, marketing and servicing of all its products. It has trained and experienced manpower of about 150 persons, with more than 70 engineers. Each separate division is headed and manned by professionally qualified persons having long experience in their own field.

The infrastructure facilities of Encardio-rite is excellent. It has a build up area of 6000 sq. m. Excellent test and manufacturing facilities are available, some of which are:

Encardio-rite operates in India through five regional offices maintained at Chennai, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Tala (Bhutan) and Tehri.

The company operates world wide through a network of agencies and also supplies to a number of OEM's. All the products are developed indigenously based on in-house R&D. Encardio-rite believes that R&D is a continuous process in which old technologies and products are replaced with new and innovative technologies and products. Technology Encardio-rite has expertise in both vibrating wire and resistance strain gage technology. The former is mainly used in civil engineering applications and the latter is mainly used in weighing systems. Encardio-rite is the largest manufacturer of vibrating wire instruments in India and has world wide exports. The vibrating wire sensors produced by Encardio-rite are one of the finest being produced anywhere in the world. Most sensors have stainless steel outside construction and are hermetically sealed by Electron Beam Welding resulting in a vacuum of 0.001 Torr inside them (IP-68 protection). This results in the sensor being almost completely resistant to the effect of corrosion and the ingress of moisture and water. A thermistor is provided for monitoring of temperature and better correlation of variation in sensor output with temperature.
